Year-End Awards

Pony and Small Horse Division

To be eligible for NDPC Pony or Small Horse Year-End Awards, each pony/rider and horse/rider combination must become members of the NDPC Pony Division and NDPC Small Horse Division, respectively. Ponies must have a current valid USEF Pony Measurement on file with the USEF and small horses must have a current and valid NDPC Small Horse Measurement Form submitted to the NDPC by October 31.

There is no minimum or maximum number of scores required to be eligible. All scores from any USDF sanctioned show will count toward Year-End Awards. Horses and ponies may compete at more than one level with the same rider, as long as the levels are consecutive. Non-members are not eligible for Year-End Awards.

Scores will have a degree of difficulty figured in per test and then will be averaged. High Point is given to the highest single score without degree of difficulty points added. Year-End Awards will be presented as shown in the chart on this page. Our show year is November 1 – October 31.​

In-Hand Breed Division

To be eligible for NDPC Dressage Sport Horse Breeding (DSHB) Year-End Awards, each pony must be a current member of the NDPC Breed Division. Ponies over 3 years of age must have a current valid USEF Pony Measurement on file with the USEF by October 31. 

There is no minimum or maximum number of scores required to be eligible. All scores from any USEF/USDF-licensed DSHB competition will count toward Year-End Awards.

Scores will be averaged. Year-End Awards will be presented as shown in the chart on this page. Our show year is November 1 – October 31.

Canadian Pony and Small Horse Division

To be eligible for NDPC Canadian Pony or Small Horse Year-End Awards, each pony/rider and horse/rider combination must become members of the NDPC Canadian Pony Division and NDPC Canadian Small Horse Division, respectively. Ponies must have a current valid Pony Measurement on file with Equestrian Canada or a NDPC Pony Measurement Form, and small horses must have a current and valid NDPC Small Horse Measurement Form submitted to the NDPC by October 31.

All scores from any Equestrian Canada Gold, Silver, or Bronze show will count toward Year-End Awards. Horses and ponies may compete at more than one level with the same rider, as long as the levels are consecutive. Non-members are not eligible for Year-End Awards.
